The NIT
The site of the NIT is situated on a flat land surrounded by beautiful and green forest and
mountains. The area is picturesque and serene and has an ideal academic environment. In
the vicinity of the Institute are the offices of the District Officials like the Deputy
Commissioner, the District Medical Officer, the Deputy Director of School Education,
the District Planning Officer etc.
Initially it is proposed to have three departments in the institution viz. Electrical
Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering and Computer
Science and Engineering with an intake of 30 each.
Classes shall be conducted in fully furnished classrooms located in a beautiful building.
Separate hostel facilities for boys and girls are available. The campus shall be having
round the clock electricity and water supply facility. State of art internet and
telecommunication facility are also being installed in the campus. |
